"I'll see you in one week, Mikomi kid. Then we will discuss the price on the map. Remember, don't forget the inflation and my finders fee."
Maybe he had overdone it a little, but luckily he was just a kid and didn't pose that much of a threat. Besides, he now had his very own fairy.
"Siren was your name wasn't it?" Chounin asked his prisoner.
"That's right! Just wait till my Zesshou comes and he kills you!" Siren yelled.
"Ha, no way. I'm too smart. A Fairy like you would at least be worth 1000 pesocs. No way in hell I'll pass up such an opportunity."
"Only 1000 pesocs? I'm not an ordinary Fairy you know! I'm the guardian of the Light of the Soul Hikari Crystal. I'm Serenity Soulheart!"
"Hah, that's funny. If you were, wouldn't your friends try harder to find you?" Chounin grinned.
Siren sighed and looked down. "I... didn't tell them..."
"They're all lies. You're just an ordinary fairy and you know it!" Chounin looked up. "Someone's coming." With one swipe of his hand he put Siren back in his bag and sealed it tight so no one would hear her.
"You?" Hitori asked in disbelief. "What in Afrain's name are you doing here?"
"Do I know... Hitori?" He realised he had met this girl before, just a few years ago. "You've... grown so much... I..."
Hitori angrily passed him. "Oh spare me. I've heard enough of your flirting for the rest of my life!" 'I have to get to the Chi village immediately, I have no time for him,' she thought and it didn't take long before she was out of sight.

"It's been a long time..."
The Mikomi warriors had finally reached Mikomi village. They were lying on a hill overlooking the village. Thanks to the traps the Sendo laid out they were down to twenty men.
"I wonder where Siren went..." Zesshou began.
Nagata sighed. "You should be happy she's gone. She was nothing more than an annoying Fairy."
"Yes... but still...And also Hitori..."
"We'll find her, don't worry. But for now, I'm the leader and I think we should first recapture our village." Nagata was now the leader. His personal feelings should not come between his mission. "Alright. I don't think we can count on that Chounin guy's passageway. 'Between the eyes of the forest'... How does he come up with that?"
"Then what should we do?" Zesshou asked.
"I think I know a way in. Listen..."

"Our men have confirmed it. We're surrounded," Kino said feverishly, "And we don't have a lot of soldiers."
"Hana, we" "don't think we'll be able" "to defend this village," Wevlum, Wevles and Wevli said, "There are" "just to many" "of them."
"Damned!" Hana cursed. She had never been so angry in her life. "Damn those Sendo, I hate them! The Mikomi are peaceful if all those other tribes would just leave us alone. We've already lost so many people... And now, we have no choice but to surrender."
"That's not entirely true."
It took Hana only a second to recognise her voice. "Hitori! You have returned!"
"Hitori!" Kino said, "How did you pass those Sendo guards?"
"There was a small opening, but we can't evacuate everyone through there. But I think I know a way..."

Without being noticed by the guards, Nagata climbed up the wall surrounding the village. From there he could see the one thing that would make his plan work. He signalled his troops outside the village to stand by. He made a gesture of counting down. Three... two... one... Then he whistled at the top of his lungs.
Down at the stables Lightning immediately recognised his master. He tore his ropes loose and exploded through the stable gates. A few of the lanterns fell on the ground and started a small fire.
"Help, help! One of the horses has gone berserk!" the Sendo stable boy yelled. From all around the village the sound of breaking glass and galloping was heard and in no time Sendo soldiers were gathering.
With their attention on the white horse, Nagata, Zesshou and the rest of the Mikomi soldiers could easily sneak inside. Even the guards standing near the throne house were helping to calm the horse down. There was only one person that didn't pay any attention at all to the noises outside.
Without actually looking to see if the coast was clear Nagata raced inside and ran into a Sendo woman. Both fell on the ground. "Oh my God! You're Lady Kyen Koh!" Zesshou exclaimed.

"Pearl of the Ocean..." Hitori said whilst staring deeply into the first Hikari Crystal they ever found. "Show me your guardian."
In a flash of light a ghostly image of a little girl appeared. "Hey! You called for Mermaid Aquateam?"
Hana, Wevlum, Wevli and Wevles watched in amazement as Hitori approached the Guardian.
"You have the ability to use the water element, don't you?"
"That's right. What can I do for you?" Mermaid smiled.

Almost petrified Nagata was unable to stand up. "You're the one that interrogated me in the cave under the Hiyou Lake! You're Lady Kyen Koh!"
Overwhelmed with mixed emotions Kyen Koh answered. "It's not... like that anymore. I'm no longer the Lady of this Tribe... Nor do I wish to be a part of it."
Zesshou grabbed Nagata's hand and got him up. "You're against the Sendo now?"
"Yes... I guess I am..." Kyen Koh said, realising perfectly well that the consequences this will have on her life after her decision would be enormous.
"Well, we're here to retake the Mikomi Village. If you help us, consider yourself a member of the Mikomi tribe." Zesshou said.
"What?!" Nagata, no longer petrified, immediately stood up. "You can't forgive her just like that! She killed a lot of Mikomi soldiers. She betrayed us half a year ago, remember?"
"Do we have a choice?" Zesshou asked him.
Kyen Koh stepped forward. "Uhm... I know that I could never be forgiven... but... I'm sorry... I'm sorry for everything I have done." She began sobbing softly. "I'm really, really sorry..."
At the same time Empress Lana entered the hallway and saw Kyen Koh with the Mikomi, the ground suddenly began to shake.
"What the hell is going on here?!" Lana screamed, "I'll kill you all!"
The soldiers took a step back. Some even stumbled and fell down.
"It's... Lana!" Nagata cried.
Suddenly Kyen Koh's body began to lighten up. "Lana. I will no longer be a Sendo soldier. I quit. I don't care that I'm your daughter. I quit!" Kyen Koh turned into a bright light that even Lana had to protect her eyes from.
"Well done, Mariko..." The voice seemed to come from everywhere. "I'm proud of you. It takes strength to tell the truth, but it takes more strength to say... that you were wrong."
"Who are you?" Kyen Koh asked the voice.
"I am Typhoon Gryffinstrenght, guardian of the Diamond of the Angel." A boy with golden blonde hair and yellow eyes appeared before her. "I've been inside you ever since you were born."
Kyen Koh's eyes widened. "In order to protect the Hikari Crystals from ever being found, Afrain put me in the one place Lana would never think to look. Inside her own daughter..."
"Im... impossible..." Lana cried, "How could I not have seen something like that happen right next to me?"
Kyen Koh approached Empress Lana. She was still glowing. "Lana! I want you to order all the Sendo troops to go back to their own village."
"Never! I'll ne-"
"NOW!"
Typhoon interfered. "You better listen to her, Lana. Or else I'll have a little talk with you. And you know your power is no match for our powers combined!"

"Ah..." Pyro said.
"Hmm?" Moyasu asked, trying not to draw Sasaeru's attention.
Pyro didn't answer. He just smiled.

Being forced by Typhoon Gryffinstrength, Lana had no choice but to obey. With Kyen Koh and all the Mikomi soldiers pointing their weapon at her, there was really nothing else she could do. The soldiers could wound her considerably and Typhoon could finish the job. All Sendos were ordered to leave the village and return to their own village. Lana however, was confined in the cellar of the throne room, restrained by Typhoon's magic.
Nagata was overjoyed to see Lightning again and the other Mikomi soldiers were happy to have returned to their village. Nonetheless, most of their personal property had been destroyed and some houses were burnt down or deconstructed for other things. The Sendo had changed almost half of what the Mikomi village looked like before.
And lastly to the Mikomi soldiers' horror, all the soldiers that were not transported away by Baku eight days ago were all executed.

"Blast them!" Tebok groaned. "Where the hell ARE they?"
Baku smiled. "Maybe... they flew away. Ha, don't you think?"
"SHUT UP!! I'll kill you if you don't shut up!"
Tebok did not know that the ones he was looking for were only ten metres away from him. Three metres under the surface of the big pond in the middle of the Chi tribe, was a huge air bubble, created by Mermaid in order to hide Hitori, Hana and the other Mikomi.
"Hmm... I just hope there's enough air here..." Kino said pessimistic.
